Digital Domain’s Head of Software R&D Dr. Doug Roble and the DHG group were honored to be invited to the 2019 TED stage to demonstrate their latest Real-Time facial capture system called Masquerade Live. This was the first time Masquerade Live was unveiled to the world and demonstrated in front of world leaders and leading tech giants. During his TED talk, Doug presented live on stage while simultaneously driving Digi Doug who was projected on several 30-foot screens for the world to compare the real Doug to his digital avatar Digi Doug, driven in real-time.
