The massive CG avalanche threatening snowboarder Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) is the creation of Digital Domain artists, as are the head replacement shots of cage on a motorcycle sailing over an exploding barn. Both sequences required extensive rotoscoping and compositing to realistically place Vin Diesel in the scenes.
