Mr. Zhu was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company in July 2019.  Prior to the current position, he was the Chief Strategic Officer and the Chief Investment Officer of the Company.  Mr. Zhu joined the Company in 2015 and is responsible for managing the investor relations and setting investment strategies for the Group. Mr. Zhu has extensive cross boarder investment and operating experience in media and entertainment. Prior to joining our Group, Mr. Zhu was a founding member and senior vice president of AID Partners, a Hong Kong based private equity firm with focus on the media and entertainment sector. Mr. Zhu was responsible for most of the landmark transactions of AID Partners, including the takeover of Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment (Holdings) Limited, a leading cinema operator in Asia and listed in Hong Kong (stock code: 1132), the investment of the Hollywood film production company Legendary Pictures, the investment of Hollywood film post production company Prime Focus World, and the takeover of the world’s leading record distributor HMV Asia. Mr. Zhu helped Prime Focus World to set up its China joint venture and was a Board of Director member of Prime Focus China. Prior to joining AID, Jimmy worked for China International Capital Corporation in Beijing, focusing on the A-shares trading business. Mr. Zhu graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a B.A. major in Finance.
