With Masquerade Live, the Digital Human Group has developed the world’s most accurate real-time facial capture system. This system was first unveiled live on the TED stage and has been featured at several events around the world. With the Masquerade Live capture system, an actor’s facial motion is captured using a single camera on a helmet. The images derived from this system drive several neural networks that intelligently utilize machine learning to decode the actor’s facial movements into 3D geometry, blood flow maps and animated fine wrinkles, all at 60 frames a second.
